LIGHTING INSTYLE

is a contemporary lighting showroom specializing in design-forward fixtures that blend function with sculptural form. The brand emphasizes elevated aesthetic and innovative materials that transform how light is experienced within a space.

Social media management, content strategy, visual direction

Through a more research-driven and intentional approach, the brand developed a stronger and more consistent social media presence. By establishing clearer visual guidelines and aligning content with the brand’s audience, posts required fewer revisions and moved through the approval process more efficiently.

The updated content direction helped strengthen brand recognition, improve visual cohesion, and ensure that each post reflected the elevated design experience that Lighting In Style provides.

Results

I developed a more intentional content system by aligning visuals, messaging, and audience strategy to create a cohesive and elevated brand experience.

After

The brand’s existing social presence presented an opportunity to establish a more cohesive visual direction, with stronger consistency across typography, color usage, and overall content style.

Before

Before + After

To improve the brand’s social media performance, I implemented a research-driven approach focused on both strategy and execution. I began by analyzing the brand’s identity, target audience, and competitors to establish a clearer understanding of its position within the design space.

Using these insights, I introduced a more consistent visual language by standardizing typography, color palettes, and content structure. I then applied this system across all posts, ensuring alignment with the brand’s aesthetic and audience expectations. This approach transformed the content from inconsistent and reactive to cohesive, intentional, and strategically aligned.

The Strategy

The brand’s social media presence lacked a cohesive visual and strategic direction, resulting in inconsistent typography, color usage, and messaging. Content often did not align with the intended audience or reflect the brand’s elevated, design-driven identity, leading to frequent revisions and slowed approval processes. A lack of foundational research further contributed to inconsistencies across posts.

The Challenge

As a Social Media Intern, I managed and executed content for the brand’s digital presence, focusing on aligning visuals and messaging with its elevated, design-forward identity. My role included content planning, post creation, and maintaining consistency across platforms.
